PATTERN | TARUN CARDIGAN

TARUN is a casual men's cardigan; a long-lasting classic.

It is worked seamlessly from top to bottom in stockinette stitch. Increases along 4 raglan lines shape neckline and shoulders. Once all raglan increases are done, the sleeves are put on hold and the body is worked in rows. The sleeves are knitted in rounds. Both sleeves and body are finished with a broad ribbing. At the end, the button band is attached to the front edges.

The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows: S (M; L; XL; XXL) = 35.4 (38.6; 41.7; 44.8; 48 )” / 90 (98; 106; 114; 122) cm bust circumference (measured at the body). The cardigan has a casual fit and should be worn with positive ease. Example: If you have a bust measurement of 38.6” (98 cm), then knit the cardigan in size M and it will fit loosely with a positive ease of 3.2“ (8 cm).

12 (14; 14; 16; 16) x 50g (1.75oz) Pascuali Re-Jeans (95% Cotton (recycled-denim) 5% other Fibers) in the chosen colour
Colour of the pictured sample: colour #05 (Taupe)

US 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 40 – 48” (100 – 120 cm) for the body
US 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) or DPNs for the sleeves
US 7 (4.5 mm) DPNs for the cuffs
US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle, 40 – 48” (100 – 120 cm) for hem and button band or needle sizes required to get gauge
4 buttons, 0.8” (2 cm)
