Origin
The ZIGZAG CAPE bolero with colourwork stripes in a Norwegian motif is worked back and forth in rows. You begin with a shawl collar in seed stitch, which later continues as an edging around the entire garment. To shape the armholes, stitches are placed on hold at the sides and bound off on both edges. The back section is worked in the Norwegian stripe pattern and finished with a final edging. By sewing the held stitches to the lower side edges of the bolero, the armholes are closed.
The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
XS–XL (2XL–5XL) = 76–107 (117–147) cm bust circumference (measured on the body)
The bolero has a relaxed oversized fit and covers all sizes with only two size options. The ease is generous in the smaller ranges (XS–M and 2XL–3XL) and slightly reduced in the larger ones.
