Origin
The traditional Alpine-style MOSS TWIST CARDIGAN with typical vertical cables against a moss stitch background is worked from the bottom up in rows. You first work the front and back sections in one piece up to the armholes, then you divide the stitches and work the three sections separately, ending with sloped shoulders. The button and buttonhole bands are worked together with the front sections, with afterthought buttonholes added later. The sleeves are worked one at a time, first in rounds, with slight shaping. Each sleeve ends with a sleeve cap worked in rows; a cable runs the length of the entire sleeve. Finally, you sew the sleeves together with the sleeve caps into the armholes.
The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
S (M; L; XL; XXL) = 32 (35; 39; 42; 46)” (= 82 (90; 98; 107; 117) cm) bust circumference (measured on the body).
The jacket has a straight, short shape with approx. 2.4“ (6 cm) of positive ease for a good fit.
You need:
