PATTERN | CITY PATH SWEATER

The two-color CITY PATH SWEATER is worked in stockinette stitch in stranded colorwork with patterned borders. You first work the body in rounds from the bottom up, then you divide the work and continue working the front and back sections separately in rows, with increases on both sides for the dropped shoulders. The shorter back section ends with sloped shoulders, while the somewhat longer front section ends with a straight shoulder edge and a neck opening. The shoulder seams are joined invisibly from the inside and shifted slightly to the back. The sleeves are started directly from the armholes and worked from top to bottom in rounds, incorporating sleeve shaping.

The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
XS/S ( M/L; XL/XXL; 3XL/4XL; 5XL ) = 30–32 ( 35–39; 42–46; 50–54; 58 )” = (76–82 ( 90–98; 107–117; 127–137; 147 ) cm) bust circumference (measured on the body).

The pullover has a loose fit and is intended to be worn with about 4–8” (10–20 cm) of positive ease. Example: If your bust measurement is 32” (82 cm), make the pullover in size XS/S; it will fit comfortably with 5.5” (14 cm) of positive ease.
