Origin
The BUNNY EARS SWEATER is worked from the bottom up in a cute bunny-ear-shaped pattern. You first work in the round up to the underarms, then separate the front and back sections and continue working in rows. The back section is finished straight; the front section incorporates short rows to shape the neckline. The bunny-ears-pattern is repeated in the sleeves, working from the top down in rounds, directly from the armholes. You pick up stitches and work decreases for shaping on the underside of the sleeves.
The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
( XS; S; M ) ( L; XL; XXL ) ( 3XL; 4XL; 5XL ) = ( 30; 32; 35 ) ( 39; 42; 46 ) ( 50; 54; 58 )” (= ( 76; 82; 90 ) ( 98; 107; 117 ) ( 127; 137; 147 ) cm) bust circumference (measured on the body).
The sweater has an oversized fit with approximately 6–8” (15–20 cm) of positive ease and relaxed 7/8-length sleeves.
Example: if your bust measurement is 32” (82 cm), make the sweater in size S; it will have a comfortably loose fit with 7.5” (19 cm) of positive ease.
