PATTERN | BUTTON BLOUSE

The lace cardigan BUTTON BLOUSE is worked top‑down with a European shoulder. You begin with the back piece and increase on both sides to shape the shoulders. The stitches for the fronts are picked up directly from the back shoulder slopes and knitted to the end of the neckline, with the button bands worked at the same time. Thanks to the longer shoulder sections on the fronts, the back shoulder shaping is shifted slightly backwards for an improved fit. The pieces are then joined, stitches for the sleeves are picked up, and work continues in rows across all stitches. Sleeve increases and armhole shaping follow. Afterwards, the body is finished in rows and the sleeves in rounds. The buttonholes are added later so they can be placed according to the desired length.

The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
( XS; S; M ) ( L; XL; XXL ) = ( 76; 82; 90 ) ( 98; 107; 117 ) cm bust circumference (measure on your body).

The blouse has short sleeves and a regular fit with 5–8 cm of ease.

Example: If your bust measures 90 cm, you knit size M, giving you a comfortable ease of 6 cm.
