PATTERN | VELVET LINE CARDIGAN

The elegant VELVET LINE CARDIGAN in pure organic cashmere is a true lightweight that is worked from the top down in one piece in simple stockinette stitch. Only the button bands and the wide borders at the hem and cuffs are worked in a ribbed pattern. After the working the collar, you shape the neck opening with short rows and then work increases on each side of the raglan lines. The button and buttonhole bands are worked directly along with the front sections, with the afterthought buttonholes added at the end.

The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:

The cardigan has a loose fit and is intended to be worn with about 4–8” (10–20 cm) of positive ease. Example: If your bust measurement is 32” (82 cm), make the pullover in size XS/S; it will fit comfortably with 5.5” (14 cm) of positive ease.
