PATTERN | SLIPPED COLOR VEST

The SLIPPED COLOR VEST is worked from the bottom up with stripes and slipped stitches. You work the front and back sections in one piece up to the armholes, then continue working each section separately, adding decreases for the armhole shaping. The button and buttonhole bands are worked directly onto the main sections; the afterthought buttonholes are added later. The back section ends with sloping shoulders while the front sections are ended straight, shifting the shoulder seam slightly to the back. The collar is added at the end.
