This fantastic natural yarn of 100% yak wool is particularly fine and soft. Our wool comes from small yak farms. It is won from the fine undercoat of yak (also called Tibetan Ox). The animal is combed and the combed fibres are spun subsequently into the yarn. Yak wool can be compared with cashmere because it is very light, soft and warm. It is a perfect yarn for all fine knitwear, worked for example in lace or ajour pattern.
Yak wool is wonderful to knit! The yarn is very easy to work with, does not split and has an even stitch definition. It also does not pill when knitting it or when wearing the finished garment. For this reason, you can work fine sweaters, jackets, scarves, or hats. It is also suitable for baby clothing or blankets. Whether as a present for you or as a gift for a dear one, the result of your knitting work will inspire everyone!

Dry flat, preferably on a terry towel, to keep its shape.<br />Please do not dry it on a heat source or in the sun!
