Product information

Bayak is a very special noble yarn with an advantage of excellent wearing properties during the whole year due to its viscose content and the length of a thread.

The colour palette was compiled by a designer Sabine Berlipp. These are current trend colours, which have already been presented in Paris. She has chosen the colours, which can be excellently combined with each other.

The original natural yarn colour is brown. The pearl white colour is bleached and perfectly suited for hand dyers.

The yak fibers come from Tibet, where the fine undercoat of the yaks is shorn. Viscose comes from China and is spun there. As almost all other Pascuali yarns, Bayak is dyed in Portugal. We use exclusively dyes, which were carefully checked for presence of the pollutants. This way there is no place for doubts, because Pascuali offers only those materials, which we would wear ourselves.

As usually with all our products, we pay attention to the high level of sustainability and animal welfare. We also support small farmers to offer you fair trade and ecologically products.

The rare and noble yarn is perfectly suited for pullovers, jackets, shawls and hats and just fine to knit with.

Care: hand washing, not more than 30 degrees and not in the washing machine. Please use only wool detergent for this fine yarn and dry lying if possible, ideally on a terry towel, in order to avoid deformation. You can also dry it on the foam hangers, but in no way close to the heat source.
