Product Information

Bayak is a very special noble yarn with an advantage of excellent wearing properties during the whole year due to its viscose content and the length of a thread.

Bayak is a very special yarn that comes with the yardage you need in a light weight so you can knit anything from pullovers, jackets, shawls and hats. The original natural yarn colour is brown. The pearl white colour is bleached and perfectly suited for hand dyers. Due to its viscose content it can be worn all year-round.

Yak wool is wonderful to knit! The yarn is very easy to work with, does not split and has an even stitch definition. It also does not pill when knitting it or when wearing the finished garment. For this reason, you can work fine sweaters, jackets, scarves, or hats.  It is also suitable for baby clothing or blankets. Whether as a present for you or as a gift for a dear one, the result of your knitting work will inspire everyone!

Care

We recommend washing your knitwear from Bayak wool by hand in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent. Dry flat, preferably on a terry towel, to keep its shape.
Please do not dry it on a heat source or in the sun!  Read more about wool care in our blogpost HERE
