Product Information
Due to its yardage and weight, this Argentinean mulesing-free merino wool is ideal for socks. What makes Forest special is that it proves that a good sock yarn does not necessarily need to have nylon / polyester. It is 100% natural yarn!
Forest’s super-fine merino wool provides elasticity and stores body heat. Its cotton component ensures moisture absorption and constant freshness, and the bamboo viscose gives your knitwear a subtle shine and great durability.
Forest is uncannily soft and is also suitable for shawls, sweaters, scarves and much more.
Forest is very similar to our sock yarn, Pinta. So the patterns for both yarns are interchangeable.
Tip: It is advisable to always order enough yarn for your desired model to ensure you knit your entire project with yarn of the same dye batch. In case of doubt, please make a gauge sample immediately after receiving the yarn. In this way, you can estimate whether you have ordered sufficient quantity and, if necessary, reorder directly.
Care
Knitwear made of Forest are machine washable at a maximum temperature of 104° F (40° C), preferably using a mild wool detergent and choosing a cycle for delicates. Dry flat, best on a terry towel, to keep its shape. Please do not dry it on a heat source or in the blazing sun! If needed, your Forest garment can be ironed at lowest temperature setting.
