Meet Dagna Zielińska
A passionate knitter and teacher based in Wrocław, Dagna launched her YouTube channel to guide beginners step by step, sharing tips, blogs, and full video tutorials for hats, scarves, and sweaters. She describes knitting as relaxing, inspiring, and delightfully addictive. She also organizes local meetups in Wroclaw known as the “The Knitting Place” and is founder of the Yarn Fest Wrocław, bringing knitters from across Poland and beyond together.
In 2023, she received the Mayor of Wrocław Award for outstanding artisans, and a year later she was honored with the title “Wrocław Woman of the Year” in recognition to her outstanding social, educational, and economic contributions.
Her enthusiasm shines through in everything she creates, and the Four by Four Hat reflects her philosophy: simple to knit, relaxing to make, and effortlessly stylish to wear.
